How age is calculated

Age in completed years increases on the birthday, not simply after dividing the number of days lived by 365.25. The calculator compares the selected birth date with today's date and reports completed years, remaining months and days.

Example

If someone was born on 15 January 2000 and today is 20 October 2026, their completed age is 26 years, 9 months and 5 days. The result can differ by one day depending on the current date and local time zone.
