How to use work and household estimates
These calculators are intended to help with planning and quick arithmetic. Enter the dates, rates, hours, units or people count relevant to your situation and check the result against your employer's policy, utility bill or local rules where applicable.
Work hours, leave and notice periods
Employers can use different rules for paid breaks, weekly offs, public holidays, leave accrual, rounding and notice-period counting. Treat outputs as estimates and compare them with your employment contract and HR policy before making payroll or resignation decisions.
Electricity, water and shared bills
Electricity costs can include slab rates, fixed charges, fuel adjustments, taxes and other fees that a simple unit-rate estimate may not include. Water needs vary by age, health, climate, activity and diet, so a general intake estimate is not individualized medical advice. Bill splitting is only as fair as the totals and participant count entered.
Date and time calculations
Confirm the start/end inclusion rule and time zone when calculating deadlines, countdowns or time differences. Daylight-saving changes can affect some international time conversions.
